Lent Devotions – Day 11

Lent is a solemn religious observance in the liturgical calendar of many Christian denominations that begins on Ash Wednesday and covers a period of approximately six weeks before Easter Sunday. Lent is a season of the Christian Year where Christians focus on simple living, prayer, and fasting in order to grow closer to God.

When we need help, when we are sick or in other trouble, we call Jesus for his kindness. Even at that time, if someone ask us some help or we have chance to help others, many times we ignore that and avoid showing our kindness to them. We forget the kindness of Jesus. We are not ready to forgive others, reconcile with others. Let us pray to God to give us strength for forgiveness, repentance and kindness to others.
