Two Right Feet

What are the things you need to do within 30 minutes of waking up to ensure your day gets off on the right foot? What happened the last time you didn’t do one of these things?

Start with prayer to God, say thanks to God for giving good sleep and allowing to see the morning, pray for the day activities. Do daily routine, have a cup of tea/coffee and go for 30 mins morning walk.

These days due to severe cold unable to go for morning walk.

Tight Corner

Many people have a Lying tongue – Flattering mouth. You need your tongue to chew, swallow, and sing. You taste with it, talk with it, and sometimes even stick it out! What is evil tongue? A tongue which speak evil things is an evil tongue. A tongue can make friends, make enemies, make another person happy, make another person cry and much more. So a tongue is very powerful part of the human body. It is apparent that we all have within our power many uses of the tongue that are good and acceptable with God. But there are specific references to types of misuse of the tongue as well.  Discipline of the Tongue is very necessary.  Foul Language make lot of unexpected problems in life. We should use tongue carefully.

Have you ever managed to paint yourself into the proverbial corner because of your words? What did you do while waiting for them “to dry”?

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Tight Corner.”

Mystery Box

You wake up one morning to find a beautifully wrapped package next to your bed. Attached to it is a note: “Open me, if you dare.” What’s inside the mystery box? Do you open it?

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Mystery Box.”

Found hte box and after reading the note,”Open me, if you dare.” Opened it and found a book with most precious proverbs, Great stories and positive live tips, the Holy Bible. Took it, kissed and opened and started reading from the beginning. This is the most precious gift I can get. Thanks to God for sending this gift to me. May God bless the person who kept it on my door.

Secret Santa – Most valuable gift

You get to choose one gift — no price restrictions — for any person you want. The caveat? You have to give it anonymously. What gift would you give, and to whom?

How many shelter less people are sleeping on the street, just covering a simple cloth during this severe cold season, Some of them are mentally sick, beggars. If you can give them a piece of old warm cloth which is lying unusable in your box, a small amount of money to eat food for one time in a day, or a small part from the money which you spent on decorations, illuminations, special food, liquor or such luxury celebrations, that will be the most valuable gift you can give to Infant Jesus. Lord will be happy because you are sharing a priceless, but most valuable gift of love.

Think about it and try to do in this Christmas.

Getting Seasonal – Christmas and New Year

The holiday season: can’t get enough of it, or can’t wait for it all to be over already? Has your attitude toward the end-of-year holidays changed over the years?

Christmas and New Year both are coming together. What a wonderful season, winter season, nice season to sleep under the blanket, difficult season to go out for work.

Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed generally on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world. A feast central to the Christian liturgical year, it closes the Advent season and initiates the twelve days of Christmastide, which ends after the twelfth night. Christmas is a public holiday in many of the world’s nations, is celebrated culturally by a large number of non-Christian people, and is an integral part of the Christmas and holiday season. Source :wikipedia

We must prepare our home and heart to accept infant Jesus.  We must prepare our heart with ejaculations and good deeds. It is the time for us to remember and repent about our sins, do a good confession and God forgive our sins.  Wherever possible, we must forgive our enemies, ask pardon to everyone whom we hurt with words and deeds. Forgiving, sharing joy, caring, loving should be the major part of Christmas celebration. Today for many people Christmas celebration is only limited with special food and drink. This is not correct way.  How much money we spend on celebrating Christmas only for enjoyment. If we give a small part of this amount to help the poor God will be very happy with our celebration. Let us celebrate this Christmas in a special way by giving a small part of money from our Christmas celebration budget to the poor.

New year season also coming. Let us remember the good and bad things we have done in this year and say thank to God for the good things and ask pardon for the bad things. Let us make a vow that we will try to avoid any such bad things in future. Let us try to change our attitude and life.

Wish you all a Merry Christmas and Joyful and prosperous New Year 2015.

Sweet Little Lies – Daily Prompt

As kids, we’re told, time and again, that lying is wrong. Do you believe that’s always true? In your book, are there any exceptions? Today’s Daily Prompt – Sweet Little Lies. Lies are not sweet or little, lying is really wrong.

The Bible says in

James 3:8, “But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.”

The tongue can be the most wicked weapon on earth, so use it wisely and speak your words with caution. We should always strive to leave honest, open lives that are full of trust and love. But, since we are all human, sometimes it is hard to avoid lying.

White lies and small omissions are still lies – we should always remember that. The option to lie should not be a in life; we should always think of the truth first. We are not made perfect and we are tainted by original Sin. But no matter how imperfect we are, we should always strive to be good people – and this means not lying.

Please read these Bible verses on lying if you need help with telling lies. Sometimes it is extremely difficult to tell the truth, but God can give you the courage to do so.

Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die.

Leviticus 19:11 You shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

Psalms 119:163 I hate and abhor lying: but your law do I love.

Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

Proverbs 13:5 A righteous man hates lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and comes to shame.

Proverbs 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.

Proverbs 17:7 Excellent speech becomes not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.

Hosea 11:12 Ephraim compasses me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet rules with God, and is faithful with the saints.

Zephaniah 3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace to the hearers.

Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds;

1 Timothy 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

James 3:1 My brothers, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.

All or Nothing?

“Perhaps when we find ourselves wanting everything, it is because we are dangerously close to wanting nothing.” — Sylvia Plath

How can we live with wanting nothing? All have wish to want everything, but that is dangerous. If  no happiness, or  more happiness both are dangerous. If no money or very rich both are dangerous. Let us have it equal, look and wish for what is required, that will give happiness and peaceful life.

Which do you find more dangerous: wanting nothing, or wanting everything?

All or Nothing?

Feeling Fancy – Help the poor

You’re given unlimited funds to plan one day full of any and all luxuries you normally can’t afford. Tell us about your extravagant day with as much detail as possible.

Luxuries are temptations. Should try to use money only for required things and save something for future and also help the poor. If we give 10/1 part spending on luxury life to the poor, that will be a great help for many hungry people, many who have no money to buy clothes, especially winter clothes, many who do not have home to stay.

Pray and Adore the God

Let us Pray to God, Adore him to get blessings from the Lord.

What is Prayer? – What Does the Bible Say?

Prayer is a communication process that allows us to talk to God.

Pray for each other

Jesus set an example for us on what to pray. He prayed for His disciples and for every generation to come that would follow Him. His prayer was that God protect and strengthen them as long as they were in this world. Jesus also prayed for those who would come to believe in Him through the Gospel message (John 17).

Pray with faith

“So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).

Pray with worship and reverence

“Exalt the LORD our God! Bow low before his feet, for he is holy!” (Psalm 99:5).

“‘Yes, Lord,’ the man said, ‘I believe!’ And he worshiped Jesus” (John 9:38).

You will know with confidence that God can hear you when you pray, so open that line of communication! Pray, knowing that no matter how far you roam, your connection with Him can never be lost!

“I pray that your love for each other will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in your knowledge and understanding” (Philippians 1:9).

Acceptable prayer must be sincere (Hebrews 10:22), offered with reverence and godly fear, with a humble sense of our own insignificance as creatures and of our own unworthiness as sinners, with earnest importunity, and with unhesitating submission to the divine will.

Examples of prayer in the Bible

Abraham’s servant prayed to God, and God directed him to the person who should be wife to his master’s son and heir (Gen. 24:10-20).

Jacob prayed to God, and God inclined the heart of his irritated brother, so that they met in peace and friendship (Gen. 32:24-30; 33:1-4).

Samson prayed to God, and God showed him a well where he quenched his burning thirst, and so lived to judge Israel (Judg. 15:18-20).

David prayed, and God defeated the counsel of Ahithophel (2 Sam. 15:31; 16:20-23; 17:14-23).

Daniel prayed, and God enabled him both to tell Nebuchadnezzar his dream and to give the interpretation of it (Dan. 2:16-23).

Nehemiah prayed, and God inclined the heart of the king of Persia to grant him leave of absence to visit and rebuild Jerusalem (Neh. 1:11; 2:1-6).

Esther and Mordecai prayed, and God defeated the purpose of Haman, and saved the Jews from destruction (Esther 4:15-17; 6:7-8).

The believers in Jerusalem prayed, and God opened the prison doors and set Peter at liberty, when Herod had resolved upon his death (Acts 12:1-12).

Paul prayed that the thorn in the flesh might be removed, and his prayer brought a large increase of spiritual strength, while the thorn perhaps remained (2 Cor. 12:7-10).

Today, write a post about the topic of your choice — using only one-syllable words.

Gut Feeling

When’s the last time you followed your instinct despite not being sure it was the right thing to do? Did it end up being the right call?

Earlier I used computer mostly for entertainment. I followed this instinct although sure it was not the right thing to do? When I was sick, attended retreats and there understood what I followed was wrong. Prayed and now changed the habit. Now also I use many hours on computer and the result is this blog. Trying to spread the Word of God.

Wronged Objects – computer

If your furniture, appliances, and other inanimate objects at home had feelings and emotions, to which item would you owe the biggest apology? Great question.

I would have surely apologised to my computer, because I disturb it many hours in a day and on weekly days morning and evening 4/5 hrs daily. Key board might be tired and paining because my fast key strokes. Office computer have more problem from me than home computer. But both must be happy too, because I do blogging on spreading the Word of God.

The best advice ever received

I have received advice and motivation from retreats that it is the duty of every christian to proclaim the Gospel. I think it is the best advice I have ever received. I am trying my best to spread the word of God through this site. I think it would apply to all who follow Jesus. We should share good advice to others.

Jesus is the Lord of the Sick, Savior of the World, the only Savior, Redeemer of sins and the Healer of the sick. Jesus Christ redeems believers from all forms of sinful bondage and oppression through his death and resurrection.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received that you wouldn’tgive to anyone else? Why don’t you think it would apply to others?  Not for Thee

Someone Else’s Island

We’ve all been asked what five objects we’d take with us to a desert island. Now it’s your best friend’s (or close relative’s) turn to be stranded: what five objects would you send him/her off with?

  1. Holy Bible         – No work there, enough time to read a good book. Reading  Great Stories of Holy Bible  will remove stress and give peace in mind.
  2. Holy Rosary      – Enough time to recite rosary. Reciting rosary and meditating will also give him peace in mind.
  3. Prayer Book      – He can pray for him and for others.
  4. Water and Food – required for physical health
  5. Clothes               – His dress might be filled with dust and sweat. He can change his clothes and feel fresh.

In the desert he can feel at home.  Someone Else’s Island
