5 Minutes Before You Fall Asleep – Positive Affirmations – Wayne Dyer Meditation

“All blame is a waste of time. No matter how much fault you find with another, and regardless of how much you blame him, it will not change you.

The only thing blame does is to keep the focus off you when you are looking for external reasons to explain your unhappiness or frustration.

You may succeed in making another feel guilty about something by blaming him, but you won’t succeed in changing whatever it is about you that is making you unhappy. ”

“You are not stuck where you are unless you decide to be.”

Novena Prayer To Our Lady of Velankanni

Download Novena Prayer To Our Lady of Velankanni

Our Lady of Good Health, also known as Our Lady of Vailankanni, is a celebrated Catholic title of the Blessed Virgin Mary believed to have appeared in Velankanni Town, Tamil Nadu, India. According to traditional beliefs, the Marian apparition is said to have occurred to a young boy delivering milk to the neighbourhood when the Virgin Mary, carrying the child Jesus, is said to have appeared. This apparition has not been approved by the Holy See.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health erected by the Portuguese and the Indians stands at this site. The iconic depiction of the Madonna is unique in that it is one of two only icons where Mary is portrayed wearing an Indian Sari, while the other statue is said to have been buried with Aurangzeb, the Mughal Emperor . The basilica is known as a site for pilgrims from all over India and its assembly of multilingual prayers every Christmas. Source : wikipedia

Prayers to special Saints

MOST Holy and Immaculate Virgin, Help of Christians, Mother of the Church, we place ourselves under your motherly protection. We promise to be faithful to our Christian vocation and to work for the greater glory of God and the salvation of our souls, and of those entrusted to us.
With faith in your intercession we pray for the Church, for our family and friends, for youth especially those most in need and for all men.
You were St. John Bosco’s teacher. Show us how to imitate his virtues: especially his
union with God, his chastity, humility and poverty, his love for work and for temperance, his goodness and total giving of self to others, his loyalty to the Holy Father and to the Church.
Grant, O Mary, Help of Christians the graces of which we stand in need. (Here mention your intentions). May we serve God with fidelity and generosity until death. Help us and our dear ones to attain the boundless joy of being forever with our Father in heaven.

O little Therese of the Child Jesus who during your short life became a mirror of angelic purity, love of God whole hearted abandonment to His will, now that you possess the Lord you so deeply loved, plead my case before His Holy Throne.
Make my troubles your own. You promised to spend your Heaven doing good upon earth. Intercede for me in my hour of need (here mention the grace desired) if it is for the greater Glory of God and the good of my soul.
Dear little Flower, obtain for me the blessing that I may have strength in the trials of life and be defended at the hour of my death. Lead me to a happy eternity. Amen.

TO YOU, blessed Joseph, we come with confidence in this our hour of need, trusting in your powerful protection. Your loving service to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God and your fatherly affection for the Child Jesus, Inspire us with Faith in the power of your intercession before the throne of God.
We pray, first of all, for the Church: that it may be free from error and corruption, and be a shining light of universal love and justice.
We ask your intercession for our loved ones in their trials and adversities that they may be inspired by the love, obedience and affection of the Holy Family and be to each other a mutual source of consolation and Christian fidelity.
We ask your intercession also for our special need (here mention the grace desired) Keep us one and all under your protection so that strengthened by your example and assistance, we may lead a holy life, die a happy death, and come to the possession of everlasting happiness in heaven. Amen.

SAINT Jude glorious Apostle and faithful servant of the Son of God, the Church honours and invokes you universally as patron of hopeless cases, I place before you my problems, sure that you will not turn a deaf ear to my request.
Come to my assistance in this great moment of need that I may receive strength and perseverance and that I may ultimately accept God’s Holy will. (Here mention the grace desired)
I promise you O Blessed Apostle, to be ever mindful of this grant favour and never cease to honour you as my special patron. May the Holy will of God be in all things done forever. Amen.

O GOOD and gentle St. Anthony, your love of God and concern for His creatures made your worthy, whole on earth to obtain many miracles from God. Come to my help in this moment the grace of trouble and anxiety. (Here mention the grace desired)
Your ardent love of God made you worthy to hold the Holy Infant in your arms Whisper to Him my humble request if it be for the greater glory of God and the salvation of my soul, Amen.

Prayers for special intentions

O Almighty God, who by the love which you have for men, have deigned to take our humanity, to live a life of hard work, to suffer a most cruel passion and finally to die on the Cross. I beseech Thee, by the infinity merits purchased for us with your precious Blood, look mercifully on the suffering, which is endured by the holy souls in Purgatory.

Accept, O merciful God, the prayers which I offer for them, and call them to the glory of Heaven. I recommend to you the souls of my relations, friends and benefactors, and in a special manner of those to whom I may have been an occasion of sin by my bad example.
Most Holy Virgin, Mother of mercy, Comforter of the Afflicted, intercede for those souls that by Your powerful intercession they may be admitted to enjoy that Kingdom which is prepared for them. Amen.

MOST sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us, humbly kneeling before thy altar, We are Yours and Yours we wish to be; but to be more surely united with You, each one of us freely consecrates himself today to Your most Heart.
Many have never known You; many too, have rejected You. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them to Your Sacred Heart. May You be recognized as Saviour by all those who are still in the darkness of disbelief. Draw them into the light and Kingdom of God.
Grant, O Lord, to Your Church freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound from pole to pole with one cry: praise to the divine Heart that wrought our salvation; to it be glory and honour forever. Amen.

God, Our Father, loving and merciful, bring together and keep all families in perfect unity of love and mutual support. Infuse in each member the spirit of understanding, forbearance, and affection for each other.
Keep quarrels, bitterness and pettiness far from them, and for their occasional failures instill forgiveness and peace.
May the mutual love and affection of parents be a source of loving obedience and discipline, May their chastity and fidelity be an inspiration to their children.
Instill in children such self-respect that they may respect others, obey their parents and those in authority and grow in mature independence and the tender joys of friendship.
Make the mutual affection and respect of families a sign of Christian life here and
hereafter, through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

incarnation of Christ your son was made known by the message of an angel, may, by his passion and cross, be brought to the glory of his resurrection, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Queen of heaven, rejoice, alleluia! For whom you did merit to bear alleluia;
Has risen as he said, alleluia!
Pray for as to God, alleluia!
Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia!
Because the Lord is truly risen, alleluia!

Let us pray:
O God, Who gave joy to the world through the resurrection of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant that we may obtain through his Virgin Mother, Mary, the joys of everlasting life, Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
Glory be….

Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; the kingdom come; the will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed are thou among women, and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinner, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born, of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell, the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

O my God, I firmly believe that you are one God in three Divine Persons, Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit; I believe that your Divine Son became man, and died for our sins, and that he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches, because you have revealed them, who neither deceive nor and deceived.

O my God, relying on your Almighty power and infinite mercy and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of your grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.

O my God, I love you above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because you are all good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbour as myself for the love of you. I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.

O my God I am sorry and beg pardon for all my sins and detest them above all things
because they deserve your dreadful punishments, because they have crucified my loving Saviour, Jesus Christ and most of all because they offend your infinite goodness and I firmly resolve by the help of your grace never to offend you again and carefully to avoid the occasions of sin.

O my God, I love you above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because you are all good and worthy of all my love. I love my neighbour as myself, for the love of you. I forgive all who have offended me and I ask pardon of all whom I have offended. Lord, grant that I may love you more and more.
