A tongue which speak evil things is an evil tongue. A tongue can make friends, make enemies, make another person happy, make another person cry and much more. So a tongue is very powerful part of the human body. It is apparent that we all have within our power many uses of the tongue that are good and acceptable with God. But there are specific references to types of misuse of the tongue as well.  Discipline of the Tongue is very necessary.  Foul Language make lot of unexpected problems in life. Sweet Little Lies – Daily Prompt

As kids, we’re told, time and again, that lying is wrong. Do you believe that’s always true? In your book, are there any exceptions? Today’s Daily Prompt – Sweet Little Lies. Lies are not sweet or little, lying is really wrong.

The Bible says in

James 3:8, “But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.”

The tongue can be the most wicked weapon on earth, so use it wisely and speak your words with caution. We should always strive to leave honest, open lives that are full of trust and love. But, since we are all human, sometimes it is hard to avoid lying.

White lies and small omissions are still lies – we should always remember that. The option to lie should not be a in life; we should always think of the truth first. We are not made perfect and we are tainted by original Sin. But no matter how imperfect we are, we should always strive to be good people – and this means not lying.

Please read these Bible verses on lying if you need help with telling lies. Sometimes it is extremely difficult to tell the truth, but God can give you the courage to do so.

Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die.

Leviticus 19:11 You shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

Psalms 119:163 I hate and abhor lying: but your law do I love.

Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

Proverbs 13:5 A righteous man hates lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and comes to shame.

Proverbs 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.

Proverbs 17:7 Excellent speech becomes not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.

Hosea 11:12 Ephraim compasses me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet rules with God, and is faithful with the saints.

Zephaniah 3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace to the hearers.

Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds;

1 Timothy 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

James 3:1 My brothers, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.

No Time to Waste – Life is too short

Life is too short to live as per the will of God. People do not realise this fact and waste their time, live a sinful life. Instead of doing good things, they do negative things, instead of helping and loving others they fight with others. They work hard ignoring health to earn more and more money and later spend double of that earning on treatment. They forget to pray and experience the love of God in good health and seek God when become sick. Life is too short, hence we should try our best to do good and avoid negative, try to love and help others and avoid fighting. We do not know what will happen in next minute. Live as per the will of God to have eternal happiness.

Below are some of the Bible verses about Life is too short.

15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.(Psalm 103)
For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall,(1 Peter 1:24)
You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep; In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew. In the morning it flourishes and sprouts anew; Toward evening it fades and withers away.(Psalms 90:5-6)

Therefore their inhabitants were short of strength, They were dismayed and put to shame; They were as the vegetation of the field and as the green herb, As grass on the housetops is scorched before it is grown up.(Isaiah 37:27)

Below is a good parable. Some of us may be thinking and doing same like this. May be we are working far away from home or in other country. We work hard to earn money and deposit in Bank. We build big luxurious house at our native. We are doing this for a happy retired life. But we have no idea how long will live. Read the below The Parable of the Rich Fool and think about it. God is saying this to us.

13 Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

14 Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?” 15 Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

No Time to Waste – “Life is too short to _____.”

Let It Be – that should’ve been left untouched

“Write a post about something that should’ve been left untouched, but wasn’t. Why was the original better?”

People are going away from God, It should have been better if technology world left untouched.

Years back there was no T.V., no mobile, no internet, no such entertainment medium was available. People had enough time for prayer. New technology world changed everything. T.V. serials and other entertainment programmes have made change of time in evening prayer, or no evening prayer. T. V. Programmes, internet doesn’t allow to attend church on some sundays. Social network, whatsapp etc allowed to find wrong friends, wrong chat, online friendship damaging married life, family life. God given New technology for the benefit of the world, but it is being misused in many ways. Let us pray for the change of mind of people to make use of good only with new technology.

This is only a post about the Daily Prompt – Let It Be. This post doesn’t mean that new technology is bad. New technology is a must for development of the world and that is the reason God blessing people with brain to develop new technology.
